A telecommunications technician by trade, I also illustrate and paint in various mediums, and have written two novels, both currently unpublished. In the last several years, my hobby art has been heavily influenced by the movie poster style, most notably by artists such as Richard Amsel, Roger Kastel, Drew Struzan, and Bob Peak.

Having recently finished reading Philip Reeve's Fever Crumb series, an engaging and powerful prequel to his Mortal Engines Quartet, I once again became personally inspired, and began preparing concept sketches for an uncommissioned painting for the first book in the set: "Fever Crumb", this past winter and into spring. To my unhappy surprise, I recently came across a new international one-sheet poster for Ridley Scott's new Alien movie, Prometheus, while checking out "imdb", and discovered that the studio's new promotional image for the film features a giant metallic head placed prominantly on the poster.
